Job Description

The Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of security are maintained across all information systems. This role requires a highly customer-focused individual who can manage projects and teams for results and deliver technology services to high standards.

This includes overseeing the cybersecurity strategy and governance by establishing and maintaining information security frameworks, policies, procedures, and standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking initiative and adopting a proactive approach within a cybersecurity role, contributing effectively to the delivery of security operations and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and lead the cybersecurity programme, including ensuring that all necessary and appropriate security measures are developed and in place to protect the diverse infrastructure and applications.
  2. Manage the development and support of network and security infrastructures which support the delivery of services for enterprise-grade business infrastructure, covering all layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) network stack.
  3. Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of cybersecurity technologies throughout, including SIEM, SOC, PAM, IDP/IPS, Firewalls, etc.
  4. Ensure that all external managed service providers are compliant with cybersecurity policies and standards.
  5. Be accountable for responding to and managing any cybersecurity incidents and breaches, such as ransomware attacks, malware attacks, phishing attempts, etc.
  6. Lead efforts in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. Cybersecurity experience and qualification and/or certification.
  2. Proven experience and expertise across a range of cybersecurity areas, including:
    • Cybersecurity policy development and risk management.
    • Information security tools and technologies.
    • Management reporting.
    • Governance and leadership.
    • Regulatory compliance.
  3. Working technical ability to evaluate and mitigate cybersecurity risks in contemporary IT systems.
  4. Experience leading, managing, and developing a team.
  5. A track record of driving ICT/Cybersecurity/Digital-enabled transformational change in a dynamic and complex environment.
