Job Overview

The ideal candidate will support construction operations by efficiently sourcing and procuring goods and services.

This role involves working closely with construction sites across the country to ensure timely delivery of materials, plant and equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Receive requisitions from construction sites and raise accurate purchase orders for various goods and services.
  • Manage certifications for all certified plant and temporary fire control on sites and at head office.
  • Coordinate logistics and transport, including movement of company plant and materials to and from sites.
  • Compile and produce reports as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a purchasing role, preferably in construction or manufacturing is expected.
  • Strong negotiation abilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with Excel and ERP/purchasing systems is necessary.
  • Familiarity with the domestic construction supply chain is an asset.
