Procurement Specialist

A senior role is available for an experienced professional who can lead the development and execution of end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic supply chain plans to support business growth and profitability
  • Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Manage inventory levels, implement forecasting models, and optimize production planning processes
  • Lead logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and quality assurance
  • Implement and maintain enterprise resource planning systems and supply chain reporting tools
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
  • Identify risks and develop contingency plans to safeguard supply continuity
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics, and supplier performance metrics
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
