Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining medical diagnostic equipment at customer sites across Ireland.

This field-based role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Service and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical diagnostic equipment within designated product range.
  2. Technical Support: Provide prompt and professional technical support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
  3. Training and Development: Attend product training courses to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize team processes and procedures.
  5. Communication: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, managers, and customers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 3rd Level Qualification: A degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (NFQ level 7 or equivalent).
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in fault finding and repairing electronic equipment.
  • IT and Microsoft Skills: Strong IT, Microsoft Office, and Networking Infrastructure skills.
  • Customer-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with customers and staff at all levels.
  • Driving License: A full driving license valid for driving in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
