About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of the finance function, including the processing of financial transactions, managing a finance team, and implementing financial controls. They will also assist in managing daily cash, preparing monthly management accounts, and contributing to the annual budget preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Lead a finance team, promoting engagement and motivation, while also ensuring high-quality work output.
- Process all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and credit control functions.
- Implement and maintain adequate financial controls, ensuring regular reviews as directed by senior management.
- Assist in managing daily cash and producing weekly and quarterly cash forecasts.
Requirements:
- Part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in finance operations.
- Experience with Microsoft NAV or similar products.
- Payroll experience is essential.
- People management skills are crucial.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
