Job Description

This role involves leading and delivering on key workstreams within the CRU. You will be responsible for complex modelling and quantitative analysis, communicating findings clearly, conducting quality assurance checks, and preparing information and decision papers for the Commission or Single Energy Market Committee.

You will also manage public consultations, procure external consultants, and engage with stakeholders to further CRU objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • An honours degree in an economic, financial, or quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 2 years relevant modelling experience in the energy sector, preferably in PLEXOS Energy Modelling Software
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a regulatory, legal, economic policy-making, or other relevant role
