IT Infrastructure Specialist Role Overview

Obie Fine Foods, a leading Irish family business, seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will involve delivering scalable, reliable, redundant, and secure IT infrastructure as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support of 270 end users across sites (Level 1/2/3 support)
  • Project management of third-party services
  • Lead technical resource on internal projects
  • Continuous improvement of IT tools and services
  • Administration of existing environment
  • Suggest service improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and customer service
  • Physical skills for cabling and related tasks
  • Technical skills including Server technology (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server 2012/2016)
  • Office 365 Suite (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Backup technologies (Veamm, Spanning)
