Job Description:

The role of the Human Resources Executive is to provide administrative support to the HR team and assist in key HR functions, including performance appraisals, training needs analysis, succession planning, employee engagement surveys, and addressing basic HR queries. The HR Executive will be instrumental in ensuring smooth HR operations across multiple sites in Ireland and the UK.

  • Administrative Support: Provide assistance to the HR team in maintaining accurate records and managing documents.
  • Performance Appraisal Coordination: Assist in coordinating the performance appraisal process, including tracking appraisal timelines, collating feedback, and supporting managers with documentation.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Support the training needs analysis process by gathering training requirements, liaising with training providers, and maintaining training records.
  • Succession Planning: Contribute to succession planning efforts by maintaining talent databases and assisting in career progression initiatives.
  • Employee Engagement: Assist in the administration and analysis of employee engagement surveys, compiling reports and recommending actions based on feedback.
  • HR Queries: Respond to basic HR queries from employees, including policies, procedures, and employment conditions.

Key Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and 2+ years of HR administrative experience, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong administrative and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
