Ultrasound Specialist Vacancy

 

Medica Group is a leading provider of medical imaging services in the UK and Ireland. We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis.

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasound images and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sonography and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality ultrasound images in accordance with Medica procedures and protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and treat each patient with courtesy, kindness, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical, technical, and radiographic developments in relation to sonography.
  • Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of clinical areas for all ultrasound services and clinics.
  • Report equipment problems promptly and notify the clinic manager of any imminent service delay.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CORU registration
  • MSc Ultrasound or equivalent
  • Relevant clinical sonography experience with ability to perform a variety of sonographic exam types
