Job Title: SharePoint Migration Specialist

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in migrating SharePoint sites to completion, working with existing project migration teams to ensure efficient and successful migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Work with the Project Manager to plan migration from start to completion, focusing on efficiency.">
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to gain a comprehensive understanding of the site and document its functionality to ensure seamless transition post-migration.">
  • Provide expert knowledge to the team on best practices and ways of working, ensuring adherence to industry standards.">
  • Migrate sites from SharePoint to SharePoint Online (SPOL), redevelop legacy workflows, and forms using Power Platform.">
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation throughout the end-to-end SharePoint migration process.">
  • Unit test and support User Acceptance testing.">
  • Document site creation to enable IT Operations to take over site support.">
  • Communicate status and challenges clearly to both Project and Programme Managers.">
  • Perform other related tasks as required.">

Required Experience:

">
  • ">
  • At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint migration, demonstrating expertise in managing complex migrations involving workflows, custom forms, etc.">
  • Proven experience with tools like Sharegate or AvePoint for migration.">
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, including modern sites, hubs, communication and team sites, and subsites.">
  • Experience in adopting modern SharePoint solutions and transferring classic SharePoint approaches and technologies.">
  • Experience troubleshooting SharePoint issues, including performance and configuration challenges.">
  • Familiarity with the integration of SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and wider Microsoft environment.">
  • Desired advanced Power Platform development experience (Power Automate, Power Apps) for workflow automation and custom business solutions.">
  • Desired ability to use scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for administrative tasks and automation.">
  • Desired proven track record of implementing large-scale SharePoint Online solutions, including architecture, customization, and migration.">
  • Preferably has worked in consultancy roles, managing expectations and delivering within tight deadlines.">
