Job Description

We are seeking a self-driven Quality Assurance Manager to take on a vital role in our software development quality assurance process. As part of our diverse and experienced global team, you will be responsible for developing meaningful solutions that support thousands of public safety agencies and enterprises worldwide in solving complex safety and security challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the QA team members.
  • Oversee and manage daily activities of the QA team to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Assist in onboarding new QA team members and conducting training sessions.
  • Act as a liaison between the QA team and cross-functional Scrum teams.
  • Ensure QA tasks are properly prioritized, assigned, and completed within sprint timelines.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to represent QA activities.
  • Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform hands-on manual or automated testing (functional, regression, integration, and UAT).
  • Identify testing gaps and ensure complete coverage of requirements.
  • Monitor and manage defect lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
Requirements
  • 3+ years team leadership experience in a QA environment, preferably leading small to medium-sized teams.
  • Strong hands-on testing experience (manual or automated).
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, coordinating QA efforts with Scrum teams.
  • Proficiency with testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting languages desirable (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
