Job Opportunity

Senior Quality Control Specialist role with HPLC expertise sought after. Advantageous if you have protein concentration testing experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analytical testing of in-process, stability and finished product samples using HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF methods.
  • Review and authorise laboratory data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Analytical Technical Transfer team on testing reports and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and document reviews as required.
  • Perform equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Validate/verify analytical methods.
  • Deliver training sessions for QC Chemistry Laboratory colleagues.
  • Support laboratory investigations and maintain a safe working environment adhering to GMP standards.
  • Assist in regulatory audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a related scientific field.
  • Have at least 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment with a focus on quality control.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other productivity tools.
  • Demonstrate strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, good troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Display proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with advanced analytical techniques such as HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF would be advantageous.
