Job Title: Neonatal Specialist

The role of the Senior House Officer in Neonatology involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care to newborns and their families. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate healthcare professional to make a meaningful contribution to the field of neonatology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care to newborns and infants, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions;
  • Collaborating with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care;
  • Participating in on-call rotations and contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to neonatal care.

Successful candidates will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for neonatology and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MBBCh or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant medical council;
  • Specialist training in pediatrics or neonatology;
  • Strong understanding of neonatal physiology and pathophysiology;
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
