As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be part of our interdisciplinary team working closely with each individual to understand their goals, strengths, and needs. You will lead on functional and therapeutic assessments, developing tailored rehabilitation programmes that reflect the values and aspirations of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Working alongside individuals with ABI to co-create personalized rehabilitation plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and values
  2. Supporting people to build everyday living skills that promote confidence, independence, and community participation
  3. Helping individuals explore meaningful vocational opportunities, return to driving, or find suitable housing that meets their needs
  4. Providing education and emotional support to families and carers as they navigate life after brain injury
Requirements
  • Professional registration (CORU) as an Occupational Therapist, with at least 4 years post-qualification experience
  • A strong background in community rehabilitation and disability services, with insight into the lived experience of people with ABI
  • Passion for promoting independence and co-setting meaningful, achievable goals with each person served
  • Excellent communication skills, whether listening deeply, writing clearly, or presenting with purpose
