Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for building scalable applications to support our Portfolio Management, Compliance, Finance, Data Governance, Operational Risk, and Human Resources teams.

You will need to have in-depth technical knowledge of Java or Python together with strong SQL and should feel comfortable working within large internal and external data sets. You will also need to be able to propose technical solutions, assist with implementation of systems, and ensure continuous, high velocity build, test, and delivery of software solutions through DevOps automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in DevOps or Platform or SRE Engineering
  • Strong experience with deploying, managing and monitoring services in AWS/Azure
  • Hands-on experience using source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies
  • Experience in developing workflow in CI/CD orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Understands networking, DNS, routing and messaging, especially between services
  • Experience with micro-service architectures and building observability for the services.
  • Ability to speak to software development best practices and industry trends.
