This critical role will contribute significantly to shaping our data strategy and ensuring the effective utilisation of data across the organisation.

**Job Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy, guaranteeing that data is both well-managed and optimally utilised to drive business transformation, innovation, and competitive differentiation. Essential tasks comprise developing and executing data strategy, setting up and monitoring data quality metrics, spearheading the deployment of data ownership and stewardship models, overseeing data cataloguing, metadata management, and data lineage tools, and collaborating with the Data & Analytics team to ensure seamless data asset governance throughout their lifecycle.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
A suitable candidate should possess at least 7 years of expertise in strategy, data governance, data management, data strategy, or related areas, a degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and a certification in Data Management or Data Governance (e.g., DAMA CDMP, DCAM, Collibra Ranger Certification). A proven history of implementing data governance frameworks and policies in large-scale organisations, leadership experience in team development and management, familiarity with data management tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation), and in-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) are also required.
