Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Design Project Manager to oversee the design and coordination of water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all technical designs meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work on challenging projects that make a real difference to people's lives.
- Manage the design process for water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
- Coordinate internal and external design teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, Irish Water standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review technical designs, drawings, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years' experience in water infrastructure design and project management.
Proven experience delivering projects in line with Irish Water or similar utility standards.
Strong knowledge of design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
