Senior Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

The role of a Senior Mechanical Engineer presents the chance to work on a mix of office-based and on-site projects with potential for a hybrid working arrangement after six months.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with clients, design teams, and contractors throughout projects.
  • Participating in coordination meetings with design teams.
  • Conducting design reviews and validating equipment, pipe, and duct sizes.
  • Developing technical submittals, equipment registers, and trackers.
  • Managing commissioning test certificates during the construction phase.
  • Overseeing mechanical-related RFIs during the construction phase.
  • Managing all drawing activities including requests, reviews, updates to as-built status, and issuing of soft and hard copy masters.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3+ years as a Mechanical Project Engineer.
  • Residential and commercial project experience is essential.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in AutoCAD and other software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Solid understanding of M&E systems within buildings.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong team player with ability to work independently when required.
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate effectively on projects.
  • Other Qualifications:
    • A relevant qualification in Building Mechanical Services Engineering is desirable.
  • A full, clean driving license is required.
