Customer Service Professional Role

The role of the Customer Service Coordinator requires a proactive individual to act as the key link between customers and internal departments.

This is an opportunity to develop your skills in delivering exceptional service, managing orders, and supporting the team to achieve optimal performance in cost efficiency, service levels, and responsiveness to customer needs.

  • Deliver high-level customer service to customers and internal teams.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support the team in achieving optimal performance in cost efficiency, service levels, and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Manage the full order process from start to finish.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Manage customer pricing and invoice queries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate the completion of enquiry forms for new customer specifications.
  • Oversee the customer sample approval process, ensuring all samples are signed off prior to order placement.
  • Support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes and meet specific customer stock requirements.
  • Request and manage materials for traded products as needed.
  • Conduct customer site visits to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in customer service or internal sales role, preferably within a manufacturing or B2B environment.
  • Third-level degree in Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including experience with order processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset, with ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrated innovative thinking, with a proactive approach to improving processes and enhancing customer experience.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to learn and grow—training will be provided.
