Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Educational Psychologist to join our team as a specialist in Autism Assessments. As a key member of our diagnostic service, you will be responsible for conducting thorough evaluations and providing tailored recommendations to support children and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessment, particularly in diagnosing Autism in children. They will possess excellent clinical skills, including diagnostic assessment, case conceptualisation, and treatment planning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (or equivalent)
  • Accreditation (Chartership or HSE validation)
  • Specialisation or significant experience in Autism assessment and diagnosis
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessment tools commonly used in autism diagnosis (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R)
  • Strong clinical skills, including diagnostic assessment, case conceptualisation, and treatment planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
