Electrical Supervisor Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to take a leadership role on a technically challenging and safety-critical project.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead Electrical Installation Activities: Supervise all electrical installation activities on site to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate Electrical Subcontractors: Oversee and coordinate the work of electrical subcontractors, ensuring schedules, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Manage Daily Site Operations: Manage daily site operations, coordinate with other trades and project teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Liaise with Procurement Teams: Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.
  • Monitor Progress: Monitor and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Report Progress: Participate in progress meetings and report regularly to the Project Manager.
  • Perform Quality Checks: Perform quality checks and inspections on electrical systems and installations.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of work carried out, site issues, and daily reports.
Requirements:
  • Trade Qualification: Trade qualified Electrician or Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the pharmaceutical or high-tech industrial sector.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, standards, and installation practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Technical Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge: Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and commitment to on-site compliance.

This position requires a senior level candidate who can lead electrical installation activities on a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a pharmaceutical or high-tech industrial environment and possess strong leadership skills.
