Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Staffing Future Inc. in the Operating Room (OR). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring that all operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Record patients' medical records and monitor vital signs using electronic medical records software and medical equipment.
  • Supervise nursing staff and monitor their Resident/Patient needs.
  • Coordinate daily administrative & nursing duties, including medication administration, medical treatments, nursing assignments/documentation, managing all assignments, patient care, and patient education.
  • Oversee and complete patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Mentor and train new staff and provide support and guidance to all staff members.
  • Take Physician orders both verbal, per phone, and written, and transcribe them accurately.
  • Liaise with doctors and keep them informed of their patient/resident changes and needs. Communicate any protocol or care changes to direct care staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, State and Federal guidelines and regulations, and all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Record and maintain accurate reports and records.
  • Identify issues or emergencies and respond in a calm and efficient manner promoting best medical outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current License in the State in which you are working and current CPR certification.
  • Prior experience required unless in our accepted Preceptor Program.
  • Excellent leadership, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate with sound judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and reasoning.
  • Proficient in technology and medical software systems.
  • Ability to handle stress and work your confirmed shifts.
  • Always follow the nurse practice act, specific to the State in which you are working.
  • Ability to flex to the needs of the facility.
