  7. Assist in improving the configuration and management of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices, ensuring optimal performance and effectiveness.
  8. Ensure timely access to information regarding potential issues and remediation steps for personnel responsible for patching and maintaining systems, software, and networks, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  9. Conduct security awareness training and promote a culture of security within the organization, encouraging employees to take ownership of their role in maintaining a secure environment.
  10. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration and maintenance of systems, software, and networks, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support.
  11. Prepare documentation and evidence to demonstrate adherence to security controls and requirements during compliance audits and assessments, showcasing the organization's commitment to security excellence.
  12. Manage security vendors and tools, including negotiations for purchases and renewals of products, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value-for-money.
  13. Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, presenting insights and recommendations to the team and other departments, driving innovation and progress.
  14. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing programs and tools to maintain a cost-effective program, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and growth.
  15. Raise cultural awareness of information security, privacy, and compliance within the organization, promoting a shared understanding and commitment to these critical areas.
