Job Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our production team. This position will be responsible for supporting daily operations, working closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and record all incoming kits before approving them for production.
  • Prepare packaging lines and complete box/line clearance records.
  • Fill in batch records accurately.
  • Operate and feed automated packing machines.
  • Follow established safety procedures when working with packaging machinery.
  • Maintain machines clean and well-maintained.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure standards are met.
  • Pack inner boxes into outer cartons and label them for shipment.
  • Prepare cartons for dispatch, including address labels and packaging materials.
  • Complete necessary shipment paperwork.
  • Release finished products from production.
  • Perform regular quality audits.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Systems Coordinator to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency.

This is a fixed-term contract position requiring flexibility to work across both day and evening shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
