The successful candidate will have extensive experience in residential or housing projects and will be responsible for leading and managing housing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Lead and manage Health and Safety compliance on-site, ensuring adherence to all regulations.
  • Setting Out: Oversee setting out on-site in accordance with design plans, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Project Management: Plan and monitor project progress, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Liaison with Subcontractors: Liaise with subcontractors and service providers to ensure work is executed as per the programme.
  • Site Records: Manage and maintain accurate site records, including documentation of material deliveries and inspections.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role, ideally within residential or housing projects.
  • Relevant Engineering degree
  • Proven expertise in setting-out equipment (e.g., GPS, total station) and associated software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Building Regulations, construction standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing teams and subcontractors effectively.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges proactively.
