Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager to support large-scale national infrastructure programmes aimed at enhancing railway safety and efficiency.

This role forms part of the commercial team responsible for managing contracts, cost control, project controls and procurement associated with complex railway projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that will shape the future of railway operations and deliver value for passengers in Ireland.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • A Quantity Surveying bachelor degree or equivalent commercial management / Construction Management qualification.
  • 3 years of practical experience ideally in the railway industry.
  • Working towards chartership with RICS / SCS / CIOB / ICES.
  • Knowledge of the NEC 3 and 4 suites of contracts.

The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
