About the Role

As a director in our Energy Transition M&A Advisory team, you will utilize your deep sector knowledge in renewable energy to identify and originate opportunities, lead business development activity, and execute deals on both the buy and sell side. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead on the execution of deals, including advising on specialist areas such as deal structuring.
  • Advising on M&A strategy and leading on deal planning, including responsibility for the preparation of renewable energy businesses and assets for sale.
  • Coordinate other advisors to drive value for the client.
  • Utilize knowledge of renewable energy assets to understand and advise on financial model assumptions.
  • Develop and supervise the development of DCF models, including project finance modules.
About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

  • Financial qualification and strong post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
  • Experience in advising clients on M&A strategy and deal planning or executing M&A transactions as a principal.
  • A track record of identifying and leading business development opportunities.
  • Leading deals on both the buy and sell side, including advising on specialist areas.
  • Strong experience in complex financial modelling.
  • A proven record for service excellence, good communication, and ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team.
