Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our Town Planning team. This role is responsible for servicing our frameworks with key public sector clients, expanding planning services, and delivering planning advice and solutions across high-profile infrastructure projects.

About the Role: The successful candidate will be an advocate for our company in developing the planning and environmental function in Ireland. They will work closely with our team to deliver BusConnects, a strategic national-level intervention that aims to enhance sustainable transportation and the environment by upgrading walking, cycling, and bus infrastructure.

  • Deliver programme management and multi-disciplinary expertise over a 10-year programme to deliver 12 schemes comprising 230 kilometres of continuous bus priority corridors and 200 kilometres of cycle paths and improved pedestrian facilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to identify relevant environmental, social, and economic policy and legislation and use it to scope and develop appropriate consenting routes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a recognised planning qualification (IPI or RTPI), a sound knowledge of Irish town planning legislation and practice, and experience of bidding/tendering for internal and external opportunities and strong commercial awareness.
