Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Gloucester. As a specialist in neurological rehabilitation, you will lead group therapeutic sessions and work one-on-one with service users to help them develop and improve their speech and communication skills.
About the Role: You will be responsible for managing a designated caseload, completing assessments, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you will receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and access to training courses to help you reach your career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead group therapeutic sessions to help service users develop and improve their speech and communication skills
- Work one-on-one with service users to build rapport and encourage engagement and empowerment
- Manage a designated caseload, completing assessments, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
- Collaborate with a regional network of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and support
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Hcpc registration
- Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
- Experience of working with families
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
