Maintenance Supervisor Job

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance activities in our facility. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained, repaired, and upgraded to maintain maximum efficiency and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical trades and at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar environment. You should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects;
  • Overseeing maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary training, equipment, and resources to perform their jobs effectively;
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans to prevent downtime and reduce costs;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies;
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement and cost reduction;
  • Providing input to budget planning and management.

Requirements

  • Craft Qualification in electrical or mechanical trades;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar environment;
  • Computer literate - MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
