Job Description:

This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, overseeing the end-to-end flow of customer orders, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. You will continuously enhance performance through the development and implementation of KPIs, performance management, and the adoption of innovative tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the overall safety, quality, policy compliance, delivery, and productivity performance of order entry, production control, and scheduling team members.
  2. Select, develop, motivate, and satisfy all order entry, production control, and scheduling employees.
  3. Develop KPIs to objectively identify and measure business pain points and implement improvements needed to meet prescribed company objectives.
  4. Provide solutions to systemic problems that jeopardize the continuous flow of customer orders and products.
  5. Remain knowledgeable about changes in technology to continuously improve and transform order entry and production control operation performance.
  6. Oversee training programs to effectively onboard new order management team members.
  7. Develop headcount and capacity plans that enable a sustainable, scalable, and agile order management organization.
  8. Create and present business cases and reports as necessary to senior management.
  9. Align order intake and production capacity to achieve company revenue goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • >5 years combined order entry, production planning, and scheduling experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehouse, or 3PL environment.
  • Proficiency in analytics, planning, & backlog management.
  • Previous experience with Global Order Promise (GOP), Oracle, Esker advantageous.
  • Effective relationship development and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional business demeanor.
  • Highly organized, methodical, critical, and approachable.
  • Adaptable under pressure and comfortable with ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
  • MS Office application proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Previous experience with Oracle system beneficial.
