Job Opportunity: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in a reputable kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Contribute to menu development and execution, highlighting local produce and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams for seamless communication and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-quality kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary Irish cuisine and passion for using local ingredients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, motivating and managing a team.
  • High standards of food hygiene and safety practices.
