Compassionate Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Social Care Assistant. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week on a day and night duty roster. You will be part of a supportive and values-driven adult residential disability service in County Kildare.
Key Responsibilities- Support and respect the rights of each person using the service.
- Promote independence, choice, and decision-making.
- Deliver care through a person-centred approach.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Authorisation to work in Ireland.
- A QQI Level 5 (8 modules) qualification in Social Care/Healthcare or Nursing.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience supporting vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Fluent English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
