Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team and contribute to the development of our core data platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior member of staff to architect, build, and operate the next-generation distributed database and storage platform that supports critical systems in our global ecommerce business.

You will be responsible for scaling our core data infrastructure by collaborating closely with engineers, customers, business partners, and product managers. You will work on designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems, storage, and databases.

This position offers the opportunity to drive architecture discussions, produce detailed design documentation, and participate in code reviews. You will be expected to commit to code quality and maintainability, with experience in evolving architectures and standards, refactoring, and improving build and test systems.
