Job Description

We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with offices in Dublin and Cork, and an 18-month fixed-term contract. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting the organisation's role and achievements through strategic communications plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert marketing and communications advice to internal teams
  • Implementing strategic communications plans to promote the organisation's brand and achievements
  • Supporting press office functions, including media relations and spokesperson support
  • Coordinating content development and publication of key reports
  • Providing marketing and communications support for flagship events
  • Managing agency relationships
  • Defining, monitoring, and adjusting program metrics
  • Conducting target audience research to inform communication strategies
  • Managing brand assets to ensure proper use
  • Collaborating with the wider Communications team to maximise content effectiveness

You will have the opportunity to bring your expertise to life and engage key audiences while working in a multi-disciplinary team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree (NFQ Level 7+) in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a marketing/communications function
  • Competency across the full marketing communications mix
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong IT skills

While proficiency in the Irish language is not essential, knowledge/experience in the public sector and sustainable/renewable energy sectors are desirable.
