Role Overview:

The Investment Operations Manager is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the Loan Operations team. The team's primary focus is on maintaining and processing all lifecycle events for Private Credit, managing client deliverables, and developing best-in-class processes to meet the evolving private loans market.

This senior-level role will lead a team of Loan operation SMEs specializing in servicing private loans. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all client and team deliverables, ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Creating and implementing operational standards and procedures
  • Supporting professional development of staff and supervisors
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on processing complex lifecycle events such as restructures
  • Staying informed of industry developments
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients, internal teams, vendors, loan agents, and relationship managers across a global team
  • Managing resource planning, collaborating with other teams
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring new employees; motivating staff
  • Ensuring client service excellence and timely query resolution
  • Leading or participating in initiatives and projects related to operational improvements and efficiencies

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 10 years' experience in Alternative funds, with a minimum of 5 years in private credit/loan operations
  • 4 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Knowledge of portfolio accounting systems
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx automation tools (desirable)
  • B.S./B.A. in Accounting/Finance or related field
