About the Role

As a Senior Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based, recovery-focused psychological care to adults experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including clinical interviews, psychometric testing, and structured observations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide psychotherapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT-informed approaches, ACT, schema therapy, and psychoeducation.
  • Support clients in developing recovery-focused goals and participate in regular case discussions and care planning.
  • Engage in risk assessment and management to ensure safe and appropriate clinical practice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional guidelines.
  • Promote service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services.
Requirements
  • Registered Psychologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in mental health settings with adults.
  • Strong knowledge of theoretical models and therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
