Job Title: Sourcing Specialist

About This Role

This position requires a highly skilled professional to drive cost savings and maximise business opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with managers and cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic sourcing of products and global procurement
  • Negotiating pricing, deals, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Identifying, evaluating, and capitalising on opportunities to reduce sourcing costs, build on current product offerings, and create additional value for the customer base
  • Conducting regular market and spend analysis to drive cost savings and supplier improvements
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions
  • Partnering with key internal stakeholders to develop business and maximise opportunities
  • Managing tender enquiries and negotiation of contracts
  • Working as part of a dynamic and experienced team to help achieve company goals
Requirements
  • Qualification or relevant industry-related experience, background in supply chain or sourcing preferred
  • Proven track record of supplier evaluation, negotiation, and selection
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Ability to absorb technical information of products
  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office), SAP ERP experience highly desirable
  • Flexible and proactive attitude with an ability to think strategically
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to work to agreed time scales and deadlines
