This is a challenging role that requires you to originate loan products and develop internal and external referral sources. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, your primary focus will be on originating loan products offered by the bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview applicants and request specific information for mortgage loan applications.
  • Serve as primary contact with all parties on individual loans originated from application to closing, including counseling and pre-qualifying potential home buyers, completing applications, and obtaining necessary support documents.
  • Analyze applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan.
  • Work with underwriting to ensure all questions are answered and/or resolve mortgage-related problems.
  • Submit loan package to operations department and assist loan processor in loan approval.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1-3 years of residential real estate experience.
  • NMLS license required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within time constraints.
