As a key figure in maintaining cleanliness and food safety, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards within the hospital. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a thorough audit of the cleaning schedule and standards
  • Develop Quality Improvement Plans across all hospital areas
  • Ensure that all staff members are fully trained and up-to-date
  • Work closely with hospital management to drive quality excellence
  • Evaluate and review existing practices and introduce enhanced practices as necessary

In addition to housekeeping responsibilities, you will also work effectively with the kitchen team to maintain high standards in food preparation, cooking, dispatch, and serving.

You will oversee the day-to-day activities of the catering team, including rostering, leave requests, and record-keeping within the kitchen and catering department.

This role demands strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and delegate effectively. You should have previous experience working in a healthcare setting, and hold relevant qualifications such as HACCP training.
