Software Data Architect

 

  Overview
  • A talented data architect is required to lead the architecture of a modern, automated data platform on AWS.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Define roadmaps and set standards for the architecture of a modern, automated data platform.
  • Champion engineering best practice and guide a small team to build reliable, scalable data pipelines and services.
  • Set technical direction and ensure that solutions are designed with security in mind.
  • Work closely with global colleagues and communicate designs clearly.

 

Requirements
  • Experience with AWS data stack, including Glue, Airflow/MWAA, Athena, Redshift, RDS, S3.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, PySpark, Pandas and SQL.
  • CI/CD automation using AWS CodePipeline and CloudFormation (infrastructure as code).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior/lead role.
  • Ability to work onsite as required in Dublin.
