We are looking for a Research Project Director to lead our GroSafe project at Technological University Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the research project, overseeing the development of innovative solutions, and collaborating with our team of experts.

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related field, who has significant postdoctoral research experience and a proven track record of securing independent research funding.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences.

The role requires strong leadership and management skills, including research supervision experience, and a demonstrated ability to work closely with external stakeholders to foster partnerships and achieve shared objectives.

We offer a competitive salary, a 37-hour working week, and a dynamic work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.

Key qualifications include:

  • An Honours Degree from an approved degree-awarding institution or equivalent in computer science or electronic engineering.
  • A research degree, normally a PhD.
  • Significant postdoctoral research experience or equivalent research experience in the public or private sector.
