Public Relations Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for internal and external communications channels, capturing images and video at events, and editing and repurposing content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
The ideal candidate will have experience in communications or public relations in an organisational setting, knowledge of best practices in communications and public relations, and excellent communication and administrative skills.
The role involves liaising with graphic designers and photographers to deliver high-quality content, applying best practices for Plain English and accessibility in all content, analysing content performance, and implementing Arts Council branding guidelines consistently.
The successful candidate will contribute to impactful campaigns communicating the work of the Arts Council, publish, schedule, and amend content on various channels, including the website, social media, and newsletters.

- Ability to write from an audience-first perspective;
- Excellent communication and administrative skills;

- Relevant third-level qualification in communications or a related field;
- Ability to communicate through Irish, both verbally and written;
