Clinical Communications Specialists play a vital role in our Disability Services, working closely with children and young adults to assess and address communication needs.
As a Speech and Language Therapist in our Kerry Children's Services team, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver essential supports to children and young adults (0-18 years) and their families.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments and diagnostic evaluations, developing and implementing individualised plans to address communication needs, and contributing to the broader goals of the Disability Services.
To excel in this position, you must possess relevant qualifications, experience working in Disability Services, and knowledge of the national model of service provision 'Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People'. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.
Additionally, you will be required to maintain professional certifications, adhere to best practices in clinical care, and demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
