Senior Treasury AnalystAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Treasury Analyst to join our organisation. As a key member of our treasury function, you will play a crucial role in managing the group's treasury activities, providing high-quality data and analysis to support sound investment decision-making.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Treasury Management
  • Assisting in managing liquidity, cash flow, and banking relationships
  • Monitoring and assisting in forecasting cash requirements and operational funding needs
  • Executing treasury transactions, including money market and foreign exchange activities
Investment Analysis & Reporting

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to prepare comprehensive liquidity and investment analysis and reporting. They will also be able to analyse financial data and trends to support decision-making processes and develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports on treasury and investment activities
  • Analysing financial data and trends to support decision-making processes
  • Developing and maintaining financial models for forecasting and budgeting
Risk Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing financial risks related to treasury and investment activities. They will also be required to monitor risk exposures against agreed limits and ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing agreed risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A honours degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. accounting or corporate treasury) a distinct advantage
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in treasury, investment management or financial analysis
  • Proven experience in data analysis and financial modelling
Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modelling tools and presentation software
  • Experience with treasury management systems and financial software
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
