As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering environmental solutions across various infrastructure, energy, and development projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Science or a related field and 2+ years of experience in environmental consultancy, engineering, or a similar sector.

  • You will conduct thorough environmental impact assessments and prepare comprehensive environmental reports.
  • Your responsibilities will include supporting planning applications and regulatory compliance processes to ensure seamless project execution.
  • You will carry out site investigations, environmental monitoring, and sampling to assess air, water, and soil quality.
  • Your skills will be utilized to assess environmental factors in line with environmental legislation and provide input on sustainability, climate change, and biodiversity initiatives.
  • You will liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to guarantee project success and satisfaction.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in environmental consultancy, engineering, or a similar sector is necessary.
  • Possession of knowledge of Irish and EU environmental legislation and regulations is essential.
  • Experience in EIA, environmental monitoring, or contaminated land assessment is highly desirable.
  • You must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A full, clean driving licence is also desirable.
