Technical Operations Specialist">

The role of the Technical Operations Specialist is to provide technical support to the manufacturing operation. This specialist will work as part of the Engineering team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient running of manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting engineers in developing production processes and ongoing process improvements.
  • Providing technical support for manufacturing processes as required.
  • Minimising manufacturing downtime by being proactive in terms of preventative maintenance of tooling, mandrels, and moulds used in the manufacturing process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Formal Production/Engineering/Science qualification preferable and/or relevant manufacturing experience (medical devices, plastics, etc.).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position or role as Mfg/Process Technician.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
