Early Morning Chef Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality menu items to agreed recipes and standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in line with HACCP guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Head Chef to meet daily prep schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitised, and well-stocked kitchen and prep areas.
  • Load, transport, and deliver prepared goods across County Limerick.
  • Verify delivery quantities against orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with stock rotation, receiving deliveries, and monitoring food freshness.
  • Ensure high standards of food presentation and consistency.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in professional kitchens (breakfast, bakery, or prep roles advantageous).
  • Full Category B driving licence required.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety best practices essential.
  • Able to work independently during early morning hours.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills necessary.
  • Physically fit for loading/unloading and kitchen tasks.
Desirable Skills:
  • Formal culinary qualifications beneficial.
  • Bakery or pastry preparation experience valued.
  • Familiarity with local routes in County Limerick an advantage.
