Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support our business demands in the energy sector.

The Role:
  • Analyse regulatory requirements and assess their impact on our operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement efficient compliance solutions.
  • Support GDPR compliance and review marketing for regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain risk registers and coordinate regulatory reporting.
  • Conduct compliance audits and provide regulatory training.
  • Develop internal policies, respond to consultations, and represent us in forums.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance across all policy areas.

This role requires a candidate with experience working in a regulated industry, preferably in energy, broadband, or telecoms. Previous experience in regulation, data protection, or compliance is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain effective compliance processes.
  • Ensure regulatory obligations are balanced with commercial priorities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate will possess CIPP/E certification or a degree in law, business systems, economics, law, or energy-related fields. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to change and work across all levels of our organization.
