Project Overview

As a seasoned project leader, you will oversee the delivery of complex prefabricated energy projects.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of offsite manufacturing, specialising in turnkey energy centres, district heating systems, and modular mechanical and electrical installations.

The Project Leader Role

  • You will be responsible for coordinating projects from early stages through to completion, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will be the key point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, driving performance and ensuring all objectives are met on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site teams to achieve project targets and deadlines.
  • Act as the main liaison with clients and contractors, ensuring strong communication and relationship management.
  • Oversee all site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage labour, subcontractors, plant, and equipment procurement in line with specifications.
  • Monitor project costs, progress, and risks, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of project documentation, drawings, and revisions.
  • Prepare and maintain work programmes, daily reports, and test documentation.
  • Support the production of installation and 'as built' drawings, O&M manuals, and completion documentation.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a project management role within construction, building services, or M&E projects.
  • Relevant project management qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of installation regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and project planning tools.
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Trade background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Experience delivering projects with M&E contractors.
  • Familiarity with Fieldview, 4Projects, or similar software.
